Toroweap Overlook — Yet another major fault alignment, and perhaps the only natural access below the rim of Grand Canyon. This is a major structural transition with the end of the Esplanade Platform. There is more canyon downriver but very remote and very difficult, and this is the western limit of Grand Canyon National Park.

Routes — Upriver to Cove Canyon, with a far distance to the next rim access at Tuckup Canyon.

Serious Grand Canyon explorers should take note of the rim-to-river Lava Falls Route. Definitely not a trail, all loose basalt boulders, and not to be traveled in the warm seasons.
