| Cove Canyon — This
region is a complex set of features forming the bay east from Toroweap to
Big Point. Typical for someplace with more human activity in recent times,
there are more placenames on the map. When hiking this section east-to-west
this is the transitional area from wild to primitive.
The eastern boundary is Big Point and Big Point Canyon, and at the head of Cove the mode of travel changes from trail to two-track, and the western arm is known as Burro Canyon. Routes — Downriver to Toroweap Overlook; upriver to Stairway Canyon. 2018 March - Connecting Tuckup to Toroweap. |
