Serpentine Canyon — One of the major canyons along the Tonto between Bass and Hermit. There is a river access and it is possible go along the river to Bass.

Trails — Tonto Trail (West Tonto). West goes to Bass Canyon connecting with Bass Trail. East to Ruby, Turquoise, Slate and then Boucher Canyon.
