Rock Garden

Page Spring — Also known as Miners Spring, located at the base of the Redwall cliff to the east of the neck of Horseshoe Mesa. Page Spring is important because it is an absolutely reliable water source for camping on Horseshoe Mesa. However, the trail has deteriorated and casual hikers may find it a difficult route. Old mining gear and a tunnel add interesting features to the side-trip. The spring has been excavated under an overhang in the Muav limestone and the water drips from the rock ceiling. No need for a filter here.
